​Pearls are porcelain ball-jointed dolls, assembled with stainless steel springs; they are 13 3/4" {35cm} height and have 20 joints.

Each Pearl is casted with the highest quality porcelain slip {it can be pearl-white or tinted in rich cocoa-pearl or milk-tea colours}, which is processed to achieve the excellence in smoothness, translucence and shine.

Their face painting and body blushing will never fade or get damaged. Pearls's painting is made in several fired thin layers, so it is permanent and absolutely non-removable. This is due to the fact that china paint is molecularly bonded to the top layer of porcelain at a temperature of 1375° F.
Each joint is strung up with its own steel spring with an individual level of tension. This stringing technique allows for an incredible degree of articulation. All joints are lined with leather for smooth mobility and beautiful posing. Pearls are made to last forever. Each Pearl is an heirloom piece of art to be passed on through generations.

Wigs are created just for them. They are made with beautiful high quality natural fibers {angora mohair or suri alpaca} and fixed on the head by magnetics. Hair styling may be simply middle parted long hair, or it may arranged in lovely sided buns or thin braids, or even have delicate ornaments {silk ribbons, mother-of-pearls little flowers, a straw hat, small metal head-dresses}.
Dresses are designed to fit perfectly. They can be made of soft organic cotton, in simply white or hand-dyed, or made of pure ahimsa silk muslin in natural color or also hand-dyed. They can be embellished with hand made embroidery, antique French lace, and some unique little treasures, such as fresh-water pearls, mother of pearl little flowers or hundred-years-old Murano glass Venetian beads.
Their wooden box, which I call "The Shell", has an elegant minimalist design, white in the outside and peachy-rosè in the inside. On the lid it has a very simple but beautiful arrangement made of mother-of-pearls pieces. Pearls's boxes are also reliable and comfortable. They come with foam inserts coated with soft fabric, specially designed to store a Pearl safely, even through transport. Pearls have been shipped around the world in these boxes and arrived safe and sound to their loving owners.
