Whether you are a collector or simply looking for a delicate companion to grace your space, a Pearl will be a kind presence by your side—with her gentle expression and serene beauty.
Pearls are porcelain ball-jointed dolls, meticulously assembled with stainless steel springs. They stand 13 ¾ inches (35 cm) tall and feature 20 joints, offering exquisite articulation.
Each Pearl is cast from the finest porcelain slip, available in pearl-white or tinted in warm hues such as cocoa-pearl and milk-tea. This porcelain is carefully processed to achieve exceptional smoothness, translucency, and a luminous sheen.
Their face painting and body blushing are permanent and absolutely non-removable. Each delicate layer of china paint is kiln-fired multiple times at 1,375°F (746°C), bonding it molecularly to the porcelain itself. This ensures that their features will never fade, preserving their beauty for generations.
Each joint is strung with its own custom steel spring, tensioned individually to achieve remarkable articulation. The joints are lined with leather, allowing for smooth movement and elegant posing. Pearls are made to last forever, each one an heirloom to be treasured and passed down through time.
A Pearl’s Finishing Touches
Each Pearl’s wig is handcrafted from the finest natural fibers—angora mohair or suri alpaca—and is held in place using magnets. Her hair may flow freely, be styled into delicate braids or elegant buns, and can be adorned with silk ribbons, mother-of-pearl flowers, a straw hat, or finely crafted miniature headpieces.
Her dress is designed for a perfect fit, made of soft organic cotton or pure ahimsa silk muslin, either left in its natural hue or hand-dyed. Every gown is adorned with fine hand embroidery, antique French lace, and exquisite details, such as freshwater pearls, mother-of-pearl flowers, or century-old Murano glass beads.
Each Pearl is nestled within a custom wooden box, which I call The Shell. Its elegant minimalist design features a white exterior with a soft peachy-rose interior. On the lid, mother-of-pearl fragments are arranged in a simple yet beautiful pattern. These boxes are both reliable and comfortable, lined with foam inserts coated in soft fabric, ensuring that a Pearl remains safe and secure even during transport. My pearls have traveled across the world in these boxes, arriving safely in the hands of their loving owners.
