New Pearl

Bonjour, dear reader!

First photos of "Pearl with a Pearl Earring", our fresh pearl. This is not her turban yet, I'm just testing colors of hand-dyed fabrics to make it.

Inspired by Johannes Vermeer's painting, with a touch of Pearl. I think I'm getting there.

I'm making a lovely pair of shoes for her, I'll show it in the next post. Little wooden clogs for my Dutch girl {hope they will work!}
